Huckleberry Patch

Clicking on the photos enlarges them.  Photos are taken as you come down the hill.  They have been taken over several years, so conditions shown will vary depending on what was happening the day the particular photo was taken.  Photos looking back up the hill will be described as such.

 

Overview

  • Rated:  
  • Type of trail:  Wide, open beginner trail that takes off from the top of Chipmunk and curves around to the left, finishing at the base lodge.  A more gentle slope than Chipmunk.  Useful if you are returning to the base lodge locker room, because you can continue skiing down to the lower level of the base lodge.  Normally, the other side of the base lodge is blocked.  
  • Accessed from top of Chair Six, bottom of Chairs One and Two.
  • This is a "slow skiing" zone.

Although the trail is not yet open in this picture, it is the trail directly behind the snow making equipment.
