Bad Med

Clicking on the photos enlarges them.  Photos are taken as you come down the hill.  They have been taken over several years, so conditions shown will vary depending on what was happening the day the particular photo was taken.  Photos looking back up the hill will be described as such.

 

Overview

  • Rated:  Unmarked, but
  • Type of trail:  Treed area on lower part of the mountain, just at the bottom left of Good Med.  Popular with snowboarders.  More densely treed than Good Med and tends to develop a gully and moguls over time.  Sort of like a "mini-Wood Lot".
  • Head down the left hand side of Good Med.  As Big Ravine comes into view, there is a grove of trees over to the left.  Head into that grove and follow Bad Med alongside Big Ravine until you see a rope, then return to Big Ravine.
