North Bowl Face

(I have seen old photos that appear to have been taken of this area and refer to it as Fantasy Forest. However, that may refer to any area of the mountain having snow ghosts.)

Clicking on the photos enlarges them. Photos are taken as you come down the hill. They have been taken over several years, so conditions shown will vary depending on what was happening the day the particular photo was taken. Photos looking back up the hill will be described as such.

Type of trail: Steep treed area below Summit House
Three ways to enter. 1) Squeezing along the left side of Summit House, 2) by the sign on the right side of Summit House, or 3) skiing towards Inspiration and right before that fork for Inspiration, there is a cat track on the left heading back towards the Ant Hill.

The track in the foreground is the cat track mentioned above as entrance 3:

You could also enter off Ant Hill, but you'd have to veer to the right to avoid the cliffs OR you'd have to miss most of the descent, ending up on the top of Moe-Mentum. Track on right is the same as above, but picture is taken where it intersects with the Ant Hill.
