Teepee

• Rated:  , BUT...
• Type of trail:  Heavily treed, steep area running alongside Big Ravine and 1000 Turns.  
• Coming off Chair One, head back over your right shoulder getting off the lift and head towards Big Ravine.  Either jump in at the gates or proceed to 1000 Turns and jump in after the ropes stop.  The trees are just a shade less dense if you enter via 1000 Turns.
• Enter ONLY through marked gates.  
• Definitely to be skied with a partner who is staying within eye sight.  Densely treed, rarely skied, tree wells, etc.
• Ends in the Hellroaring Basin, or, depending on your route, the Highway to Heaven traverse.

Views of approach to Teepee from Big Ravine:

Enter along the rope line at any openings after you descend the pitch.  Openings along the pitch would be considered Connie's.

The normal approach would be via 1000 Turns.  The entry to 1000 Turns is just barely discernable above the guys in black.  The trail you can SEE more straight ahead in the picture is School Road.

As can be seen, the trees are pretty dense.  I will try to get more views as the season progresses.
