Expressway

Overview

• Rated:  
• Type of trail:  Long narrow cruiser, mainly used to return to Chair Six.  Usually groomed.  Has more pitch than Russ's Street for this part of the mountain, but it returns you to Chair Six, whereas Russ's returns you to Chair One.
• Accessed from Russ's Street (two chances), Three Stooges, Inspiration, Corkscrew, and Bad Rock.  
• Watch out for people descending from the above, both from clearly marked trails and the trees.  Also watch for Ski Patrol, uphill skiers, and other snowmobiles heading up hill.  Control your speed on the first section between Russ's Street and Inspiration, it's surprising the amount you will build up and there are areas with a short sight line for other skiers who may be descending or stopped.  NOT A GOOD TRAIL TO HAVE A GROUP CONSULTATION ON!  Nevertheless, there are always clueless types blocking the junction at Russ's Street.

Another glimpse of Expressway as it crosses, left to right, the bottom of Inspiration where it becomes a "slow skiing" zone.  

This picture was taken before the Easy Rider chair was put in.  Inspiration now has a gate to slow down skiers coming down the hill before they enter the slow skiing zone.
