Fault 2

Clicking on the photos enlarges them.  Photos are taken as you come down the hill.  They have been taken over several years, so conditions shown will vary depending on what was happening the day the particular photo was taken.  Photos looking back up the hill will be described as such.

 

Overview

  • Rated:  
  • Type of trail:  Steep treed run, alongside Inspiration.
  • Accessed from Inspiration.  For purposes of this guide, I am using the bowl created by two faults as part of the UPPER ridge.  So, for Fault 2, the downhill bowl from the trail sign would be the slope referred to.  The uphill-facing slope is part of (for this guide) Cal's Country.

The sides FACING us, I would consider to be Cal's Country.  The sign off to the left is for Fault 2 and the downhill facing slope would be what you'd ski.

Looking back up Inspiration, Fault 2 can be seen.  

Just on the very lower part of this the connector over to Hogan's East can be glimpsed
