Over the Hill Gang

(aka The Elevator)

Clicking on the photos enlarges them.  Photos are taken as you come down the hill.  They have been taken over several years, so conditions shown will vary depending on what was happening the day the particular photo was taken.  Photos looking back up the hill will be described as such.

 

Overview

  • Rated:  
  • Type of trail:  Short side detour off Russ's Street.  Popular place for skiers to "get air" before returning to Russ's.
  • From either Russ's Street or Moe-Mentum, take the right fork after the Russ's/Moe-mentum junction.  
  • Have someone check the landing zone of the second elevator for coverage (often thin) and bodies (hidden from view as you approach) before trying your own levitation.
  • At the bottom of Over the Hill Gang there is a fork.  Both alternatives take you back to Russ's Street.  To take the right fork, however, you should have PLENTY of speed or you'll end up hiking out of the dip.
